Sommer was absolutely amazing in the purchase of our home. Sommer has been more than a realtor, she has been a friend.
We lived in Colorado, we had only been to The Woodlands once and were not familiar with the area. I was very concerned with someone having knowledge of the area as well as all of the schools. Sommer answered all of my questions...and I had A LOT of questions.
We were looking for very specific things in our house and we looked online for months. Anytime I had questions about a house we were discussing, Sommer immediately answered me and was always offering to go to the house for a virtual tour. When we finally found the house that we knew was the one, Sommer got an appointment booked and she was at the house a few hours later doing a virtual tour for us. After touring the house, she virtually drove me around the whole are and showed us the immediate surroundings as well as just driving through the main areas of The Woodlands. There were multiple offers on the house and we got an offer in the next day. This was our house, I did not want to loose it. In the months of searching there had been nothing exactly like it. Our offer was accepted and I flew out to see the house in person. Sommer picked me up from the airport and we drove around the area before and after our appointment to see the house.
I felt incredibly calm and comfortable buying a house that I hadn't really seen in an area I really didn't know. Sommer went above and beyond to give me every piece of information on the area and the schools.
The whole buying process was calm and uneventful, which I imagine is a good thing!
We were not able to be at the closing, we signed all of the papers in Colorado and Sommer did the final walk through and was texting me throughout.
The next week I came out to the house with my kids and husband, who had still not seen the house in person. I got a text from Sommer as we were driving to the airport; she had sent a welcome "basket" (I don't even know what it, she sent everything a family could need to be comfortable that would be staying at completely empty house. Food, bottled water, toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, clorox wipes, champagne, etc) and the person putting delicious cheeses and whatnot into my fridge informed her there was no power at the house. We had had the power put into our name, so this should not be happening. If we had shown up at that house at 8pm with my 3 year old and 1 year old and had no power, I'm pretty sure I would have just sat down and cried. My husband was on the phone for the next two hours trying to get the power issue straightened out. Sommer made sure they checked our breakers and was about to send someone else back out to check the power when my husband finally got things straightened out with the electric company and we were assured they would be out to turn the power on. I am forever grateful first for her just being so thoughtful as to send so many wonderful things to the house to make us comfortable, but second for her doing so and finding out we had no power. Thinking about dealing with my kids in a cold house with no lights at night after a day of traveling sounds awful. And not like I want our first experience in our new house to be!
We closed on the house a little over a month ago and we still aren't moving for another month. I have had had random questions about utilities and handymen recommendations, and Sommer continues to go above and beyond for us. She has made this entire experience easy and wonderful. We have found the perfect home for our family and we are so excited to be moved and settled. We are forever grateful for Sommer.

We live in Northwest Montana and needed to start our search for our new home remotely. This meant that our agent had to listen to our desires, issues, concerns, and determine the best neighborhoods that would fit our parameters. Then when we flew down to Houston we had to maximize our time together to further narrow our search to bring us to a successful conclusion with a house that my wife and i could agree on. Needless to say Sommer did all that and more. We had a lot of questions for our search partly due to the recent weather event in Texas as well as the annual issues of hurricanes. Sommer did a lot of research, study, calls and outreach to provide us with a comprehensive approach to our needs. We have never had a realtor go to such lengths to assist us in our deliberations. She is a skilled realtor. She knew tremendous details over each neighborhood we visited. She has a keen eye for details (good or bad) when we were touring homes. She knew what resources were nearby and how far from the home each was. She had done her homework on nearby sales and neighborhood turnover. She was like having your own”Alexa” driving and performing research for you as we go. She is a very talented and friendly professional.
I don’t know how else to say Sommer Hausman is the real deal. She is a professionals professional! I cannot say that I could honestly find any areas for her to strengthen her skills.
